Welcome to Little Monkey’s Windsor Park

Little Monkey’s Nursery Windsor Park is a private day care nursery located on St Leonard’s Road, Windsor. The Nursery operates from two properties on our secure site.  The main building houses our babies and toddlers and the pre-school is situated in a spacious purpose built, wooden cabin.

The Nursery is conveniently located for access to local towns and cities via the M4 and there is easy access by train, from Windsor Town Centre, for travel into London, where our sister Nursery is conveniently located.

We are open full-time from 7:30am – 6:00pm caring for children from 3 months to 5 years.

Our philosophy is that every child we care for deserves a calm, caring, safe and stimulating environment in which to learn.

Taking care of our staff’s wellbeing is of prime importance to us and we are proud to have been voted the 14th best place to work in the whole of the UK.

We adhere to our registration on the Ofsted Early Years Register.   This monitors the overall quality standards of the early years provision in line with the principles and requirements of the ‘Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage’.

We are open for registrations
and visits

We are pleased to report that some of our children have returned to Nursery following the relaxation of social distancing measures by Government.  We recognise that this is a worrying and confusing time for parents of young children and that some of the information in the media may add to your anxiety.

The Nursery is satisfied, having completed our own comprehensive risk assessment, that it is as safe as possible for our children and our staff to re-open and return but we are alert to the ongoing risks. We have reached this conclusion after careful examination of the data at a local level, a detailed reopening plan based on advice from Public Health England (PHE) and an evaluation of the risk to our staff, based on
their health and household risk factors. The R score being widely reported for the UK, provides comfort that the pandemic is being controlled. However, we thought it would be helpful to provide you with additional information on the more localised picture.
LEARNING
Our main aim is to provide a secure and happy environment where children can learn through play.
SETTLING IN
Your first settling in sessions will give you and your child an opportunity to get to know your child’s key person.
OUTDOORS
The Nursery boasts a wonderful large, enclosed garden where we are able to offer children daily opportunities for outdoor learning including physical activity, gardening, sand and water play.
FOOD
Our menus are designed and reviewed in conjunction with a nutritionist and are prepared by the Nursery cook using high-quality and fresh ingredients.
“Both my children have really enjoyed going to Little Monkeys the girls that work there seem to genuinely love their jobs and really care about all the little individual characters they look after.“
“Communication is good and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Both my children enjoy playing in the lovely garden and doing the various messy play and arts and crafts activities.”
“We first came to Little Monkeys as it had a warm friendly family environment. With a baby with various medical and dietary requirements we were worried what child care to choose. Little Monkeys has been outstanding in meeting all our needs, we are very happy with her care and my child is now a bright, happy, caring and confident child ready for school. “
“The reason we love Little Monkeys is it has a real family feel to it. Everyone is so friendly and really cares about what they do and the children they look after. One of our favourite things about the nursery is that all the food is all prepared freshly each day on site – also that the children have 2 hot meals a day. We also love the garden which is huge, is secluded and full of outdoor toys.”
“The reason we chose Little Monkeys was that the atmosphere was so lovely when we visited. Small room sizes made it feel like friends looking after her rather than having as many babies as they could fit in. The outdoor space was also a big factor. It’s a proper garden. “
“All three of my children have attended Little Monkeys Nursery and I truly believe it’s is a very special place. A real home from home for my boys over the last 7 years and I wouldn’t want to have left them anywhere else. Kind, caring and compassionate staff along with great food is the key to it’s success!”
